Information Gathering and Usage

When you register for Potio, we ask for information such as your email address, billing address, or payment information. Members who sign up for the free account are not required to enter any payment details.

To comply with the European Union taxation laws, you need to provide your correct billing address, name or company name. When starting a subscription plan for the first time, Potio will use your IP address to verify your country of residence.

Potio uses collected information for the following general purposes: products and services provision, billing, identification and authentication, services improvement, contact, and research.

Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes a unique anonymous identifier, that is sent to your browser from a web site's computers and stored on your computer's hard drive.

We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and provide information for future development of Potio. If you disable your browser or device’s ability to accept cookies, you will not be able to log in or use Potio’s services.

We use Google Analytics as a third-party tracking service, but we do not use it to track you individually or collect your personal information. We use Google Analytics to collect information about how our website performs and how our users, in general, navigate through and use Potio.

We may additionally collect Information using pixel tags, web beacons or other website usage tracking technologies. Such technologies are used by advertisement platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Google, but are not used to track you individually or collect your personal information.

Data Storage

Potio uses third-party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run Potio. Although Potio owns the code, databases, and all rights to the Potio application, you retain all rights to your data.

If you wish to delete your data from Potio as well as from all third-party services we use, email us at info@potio.cc from the email you used to sign up at Potio. We will delete all your data as soon as possible, but not later than 30 days.

Potio may disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate the Terms of Service.

Potio may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the email address specified in your Potio account.
